Our “goochie” 5 speed to 6 speed valve body conversion is available !

Unlock the potential for better fuel economy with the added 6^th gear, without the “hickups”.

This conversion uses a true factory modified 5 speed valve body and TCM.

Core Requirements – NO Exceptions: Valve Body & TCM

TapShifter Notes:

If using a TapShifter, customers should be advised that when in “tow/haul” mode, the tap shifter works as it should. It does NOT recognize the 6^th gear (as 6^th gear it is locked out).
When in regular “drive” mode, if you down shift out of 6^th gear, the transmission will shift “down” to 4^th gear (because the tap shifter thinks it is in 5^th gear).
We have talked to Fleece regarding this issue. There is no “fix” to recognize 6^th gear with their TapShifter.
